Although it is not advisable for you to max out your card, if you do, there are two options: you can pay back the used credit (interest-free if you do this before the billing date), or you wait till the billing date to pay back your bill.
How is pricing calculated?
Interest is calculated as a float based on monthly inflation figures as released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics
How do I activate my card?
You can activate your Boon card on any ATM. Your card pack will contain your default PIN. You are expected to change the default PIN to activate your card.
Please note that no representative of Boon will request for your PIN. Therefore, do not share your PIN with anyone.
How do I dispute a wrong POS charge?
This is easy! 1. Log into your Boon account. On your "Transactions" page 2. Scroll to the particular transaction you aim to dispute and click on it. A "Dispute" text will appear just beside the transaction amount. 3. Click on the "Dispute" text and a pop-up will appear allowing you to provide some context to the transaction. 4. Click on "Submit" and you have successfully raised a dispute.

Ouch! this is sad. However, this occurred because the email you provided is not registered to your BVN. You should approach your bank to update your BVN records or provide the correct email.

What is my credit limit?
Your credit limit is based on our assessment of your financial profile. It is a combination of your income capacity, expenses, recurring bills and credit history. You can get a rough estimate of this by using our calculator on the home page

You do not get a loan. What you get is a credit line based on our assessment of your financial profile.
Can I change my payment method?
For now, you cannot change your payment method. Our team is working on innovative ways to ensure bill payment is as efficient as possible for you. We will let you know as soon as we make further improvements.
How long does it take to get a card?
Ideally, you should get your card within 5 business days of applying. However, we sometimes are not able to meet that turnaround time due to situations beyond our control. Our teams are looking at how to ensure these delays can be eliminated.
Can I get more than 1 card?
Not yet. We have plans to make this possible. It is in our product roadmap and we should get to it soon. 😁

Why can't I use my card on Apple Store?
Apple Store does not accept the current card scheme we issue. We are working on the right partnerships to ensure this would soon be a thing of the past.
